Our Vision for this Role

Based in Cleveland, OH, the Business Analyst will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and interpreting diverse streams of data across several of our restaurant brands to help inform critical Ops, HR, and Marketing decisions. Reporting to our Manager of BI/Reporting, this will be a key role with visibility across the organization and direct access to senior leadership across the brands.


What We Will Accomplish Together

  • Building reports, dashboards, and models to help key stakeholders visualize trends and understand impacts to the business
  • Conducting root cause analysis to understand cause and effect and support critical business decisions on path forward with Brand Presidents, Senior operators, and Department Heads
  • Evaluating and synthesizing effectiveness of marketing campaigns / promotions through return on investment and pre-post net of control assessments, partnering closely with our data science and marketing teams
  • Helping to drive value creation opportunities in both commercial and cost-out by serving as an objective thought partner to key stakeholders

 

What You Have

  • You should have a history of academic and professional success in analytics and problem solving, with 2-5 years experience (previous restaurant experience a plus, but not required)
  • You should have strong analytical skills; attention to detail and ability to multi-task and function at a high level under tight deadlines; understanding of statistics preferred
  • You should be a strong communicator with ability to collaborate across multiple facets of the business
  • You should have strong Excel skills; SQL coding, Power BI, Python or R experience is preferred
  • You should have a curious mind - naturally asks the "so what?" questions and takes the extra steps to uncover insights from the analysis
  • You should have a proven ability to get up to speed quickly on new industries, businesses, and concepts
  • Finally, you should bring an excellent sense of humor to the table - we like to have FUN!
